The Real Deal On 'Pajama Jeans'

When a company has to sell their products on infomercials that appear late at night you should tread carefully. With that said, the makers of 'Pajama Jeans' swear that their consumers love their products. This may be true, but how many style icons are actually looking for jeans that are comfortable enough to sleep in? If you haven't already seen the hilarious commercial here is a quick rundown. Pajama jeans come in 'one size fits all,' and during the commercial you see women riding their bikes and taking naps while wearing the indigo colored jeans. These jeans may be affordable, but that it probably their only merit.

First of all, Pajama Jeans don't come with any hardware. Every embellishment is hand stitched, including the mock back pockets. Secondly, who wears 'one size fits all' jeans anyways? It is admirable that Pajama Jeans are obviously trying to appeal to the growing plus sized demographic. Some people have a very difficult time finding a clothes shop which supplies jeans that fit and Pajama Jeans just might be able to help. On the other hand, there are plenty of high fashion designers that cater to plus sized consumers, and they even have zippers, pockets and rickets on their jeans.

Perhaps this company should have focused on coming up with a pair of jeans that expectant mothers would love to wear. The idea of someone wearing a pair of pseudo jeans to the gym and then dressing them up for an evening out on the town is sort of ridiculous. Even people on a severely limited budget have no problem wearing sweatpants, and there are plenty of websites such as www.very.co.uk to shop at for parties, dates and concerts. Pajama Jeans probably won't be sold at a store near you anytime soon.
