There are still question about whether or not the reality TV show “The Hills,” was scripted, but Lauren Conrad is flying high despite the rumors. In an age where reality TV stars fizzle soon after their shows go off the air, Conrad has been able to transform her fame into a growing empire. With a bestselling novel and a quite a few cameo TV appearances under her belt, Conrad has gotten her shops and she's ready for the fashion world.

Paper Crown is the name of Lauren's soon to be debuted fashion label. The high profile celebrity looks great in whatever she wears, but the star wants to dress her fans. She's already gotten fairly good feedback on her new label, but some critics believe that Lauren needs to tone it down a bit. Feathers, prints and other embellishments have become her signature trademark, but if she wants to receive rave reviews Conrad is going to have to learn that less is sometimes more.

The fashion line will be marketed towards young, fashion conscious women who like to wear the same wardrobe all year long. Yes, you read it right. Each one of Conrad's pieces has been designed to be worn throughout the season. This might be a good selling point for Conrad, but some will undoubtedly be turned off.
